The series consists of a set of photographic records that operate as a visual experiment on identity and its archive. Through the repetition of the face, the manipulation of the printed image and the body arrangement in front of the register, the project proposes a reflection on the construction of the self as a classification system.

The body functions as a subject and device: it generates, holds and organises its own file. The performance of the gesture is directed towards a territory of own documentation.

From photography to stacking. It is raised: Where does identity end up when everything has been documented? The series does not seek an answer, but a procedure. The  gesture of stacking and storing faces exposes what it means to recognise oneself in a register that no longer distinguishes between subject and image.

The archive is born of excess.
The faces multiply until they lose their uniqueness. The repetition acts as a mechanism of validation, the face as data. The subject is part of the register, it is not outside the file, it is one more of the faces that make it up even though it has not yet been printed.

Identity is understood as a way of existing through the accumulation and transformation of images.
